Actress Thandeka Mdeliswa Dies After Being Shot In An Argument
The country is mourning the heartless murder and early passing of a young and talented woman again, at the hands of gender-based violence, the news was first broken by Phil Mphela. According to a statement by the Mdeliswa family, the 34-year-old Thandeka Mdeliswa, who was popularly known for her role on local television drama iKani, was shot on Thursday the 3rd of September.
She was immediately rushed to Evander Hospital in Mpumalanga, where she was stabilized and then transferred to Witbank, after which she was transferred to Steve Biko Academic Hospital, in a stable but critical condition. After a long and painful fight, she passed on in the morning of Saturday, the 5th of September. Condolences and shock about her heartless murder have been pouring in since early this morning.

She was a incredible actress on and shared the screen with some of Mzansi’s best actors, like Jet Novuka, who played her on-screen husband on Ngempela on SABC 1. She also shared the screen with fellow actresses, Khanya Mkhangisa and veteran Flo Maseba.
