Enhle Mbali Claims Black Coffee Denied Her Kissing & Sex
The war between South Africa’s former celebrity couple, Black Coffee and Enhle Mbali Mhlotshwa appears to be increasing. Internationally celebrated DJ Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo, professionally known as Black Coffee is involved in more havoc after his ex-wife made some potentially damaging claims in her court papers.
Enhle claimed that she lost a lot of money, contracts, and TV gigs because her jealous husband did not approve her shooting intimate and romantic scenes with male colleagues. As the divorce process reaches the boiling point, the Isibaya actress filed an application in the Johannesburg High Court demanding millions from Dj.
“I also was under pressure from the respondent to not take up acting events as he would not accept me doing any romantic or intimate scenes. This demand by the respondent immediately caused many TV production companies and with numerous projects that I had been lined up for, to cancel or drop me from their lists of actresses. This because, presently, romantic scenes are part and parcel of the mainstream television, and slowly and incrementally, I found myself becoming a stay-at-home mom without really being aware of it,” read the court papers.
According to Enhle Mbali, the worldwide Dj stands in at least R100 million from his local and international shows combined. She argues that she is right to claim a part of the money since she lost income because of him. The actress said that her former hubby makes, at any rate, $8-million from gigs in Europe and the US and Northcliff, as well as R20-million from South Africa.
Black Coffee, on the other hand, said he was additionally hit with an R40-million tax bill by SARS but managed to negotiate the figure down to R8-million with the taxman. He challenged his spouse’s submission about her salary, saying her claims that she earned R45 000 a month are false.
