Kelly Khumalo Launches Her Own Gin

The singer Kelly Khumalo is the latest in the line of local celebrities to but her name to an alcohol brand. Kelly’s life has been filled with a lot of storms recently, and she did not shy away from taking up her Controversial title with the name of her gin. She recently took over headlines after her sister confined wounding later which revealed that she is divorcing her due to her secret bullying and abusive tactics.

Kelly Khumalo took it to Instagram to announce the good news, saying she just made controversy taste good. “I just made Controversy taste good! I am excited to introduce the new Controversy Gin by Kelly Khumalo available exclusively online for pre-orders @makro _sa” She wrote.

The gin is exclusively available at Makro stores, and according to the Makro website is a locally produced premium six times distilled superior quality gin infused with a perfect balance of 8 botanical ingredients that dare to bring out the untamed side of life.

In other post, Kelly said the gin is exclusive to Makro in South Africa until 3 April, then they will spread like the virus thereafter. One battle of Controversy will cost you R269, while a pack of six is R1 610. Her fans are looking forward to tasting it.
