Longwe Twala breaks his silence on the murder of Senzo Mayiwa
The former captain of Bafana Bafana Senzo Mayiwa died in 2014 October 26 at the home of his girlfriend, Kelly Khumalo. Up until today the mystery behind the shooting and subsequent killing of the footballing star has not yet been solved.
Longwe Twala, broke his silence during an interview on Metro FM on Thursday on the accusation by Senzo Meyiwa’s father, Sam, that he was the man behind the trigger that killed the soccer star
Twala said he left his phone at home, but later said it was in his pocket. This contradictory statement caused lots of speculation about what actually happened on the night Senzo was killed.
Rumors have been doing the rounds on social media, claiming that Longwe Twala, son of legendary music producer, Sello “Chicco” Twala shot and killed Senzo
He denied rumours that the gun used in the shooting was that of Chicco Twala. ‘”I respect my father. Why would I take his gun and mess around with it?”
