Meet 8 Actors Who About To Join Uzalo

Mzansi’s most-watched soapie Uzalo is about to shake things up this season with 9 new actors. Season 8 of Uzalo will premiere this month with a new family played by SA’s top actors according to TVSA. The Magwaza family will challenge the KwaMashu villain, Nkunzi and will steal some of his power in the community.

Isibaya actress Thembi Nyandeni has joined the show to play the family queen Ninji Magwaza. She is described as a ruthless wolf in sheep’s clothing and will debut with her daughter Nomaswazi Magwaza played by Muvhango actress Omuhle Gela. Nomaswazi is a beautiful, smart, and conniving woman who moves silently, much like her mother according to the website.

Ninji’s cousin Vikizitha Magwaza is played by seasoned actor Siyabonga Radebe. He is a charming criminal who aims to dethrone Nkunzi in KwaMashu. Umkhokha actress Hope Mbhele has also joined the soapie as Amahle Sishi. Amahle is a fun, generous woman who will capture detective Lilly’s attention on the show. Actor Ronald Mkhwanazi will play the character of Simon Nsimbi, the Magwaza’s right hand man and voice of reason.

Rockville actress Thabisile Zikhali will join the show as Constable Biyela. Constable Biyela is an honest and well-educated woman who’s determined to keep the department on the straight and narrow. Sthembile Mhlongo will also join the show as Flavia, a career woman who is independent.
