For the longest time, Zakhele has been on and off on our small screens and when he returns, we know that he is about to shake things up even more. Just recently, entertainment commentator Phil Mphela reported that Isibaya’s low viewership ratings may result in the show getting canceled, so Nkabinde might be returning back to save it.

In a tweet, Phil reported, “Word is, the Mzansi Magic show’s fate is in limbo. Sources tell me that the show is on the brink and barring any change in fortunes it will be canceled. The show’s cancellation has been the murmur since early this year.”

There has been no official word on whether the show is next on the Mzansi Magic’s axing block. In a statement to ZAlebs Nomsa Philiso, Director of Local Entertainment Channels at M-Net said, ‘’Every year before we decommission the great shows that are broadcast on Mzansi Magic, we conduct a review of all shows, using a variety of metrics as standard practice in the industry, to ensure the decision to renew contacts is well informed. The review is not exclusive to Isibaya and an announcement will be made in due course.’’

Isibaya has won the hearts of many with its interesting witchcraft storyline, involving Nkabinde. The manner in which he delivers his skill continues to keep keen viewers of the show glued to their TV screens. During his break, Zakhele was seemingly focusing his energy more on his music career. The actor recently trended on social media after fake news of his own death circulated, but he slammed the reports.
