Nomcebo Zikode Leaves Master KG And Sign With Another Record Label
Nomcebo Zikode of the Jerusalema fame signed a big international publishing deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing SA, an internationally recognized label known for bigger stars it has signed. The beautiful singer has a 50/50 split income agreement with her previous record label under which she composed, wrote and made vocals for the Jerusalema hit song that was produced by Master KG.
Speaking on the new developments which happened to come on her birthday – October, 28th, Sony/ATV music publishing company announced the newest member on their team; “Today we are not only celebrating Nomcebo Zikode’s birthday, but we are also celebrating the announcement of the global publishing deal that we have entered into with Nomcebo. With her already impressive achievements, we at Sony ATV are thrilled to be working with her to achieve even greater things. Welcome to the family Nomcebo and happiest of birthdays,” the company said in a statement.
Despite public scandal over the agreement between her and Master KG, She has been securing a bag ever since the song became an international hit which has stored over 200 million views on Youtube. Fans and media personalities alleged that she was being shaded by Master KG on the song. Many went on to an extent of assuming she was getting less income from the profits.
Nomcebo has been winning all around this year. He latest track, Xola Moya Wami, also featuring Master KG recently went gold. It got more than 300 000 views within one week of its release.
