Skeem Saam Actress Charity Almost Lost Her Life

Skeem Saam actress, Makgofe Moagi, who recently returned to our television screens on the drama revealed, not-so-long-ago that she almost lost her life in 2018. On the first birthday of her twins, the actress opened up about the life-varying year that she had.

“Nothing fazes me in this world.” She wrote. “I almost died-2018 in I.C.U.”
She revealed that while she was under the Serious Care Unit, no one at the time knew that she was expecting. “Meanwhile unbeknownst to everyone I’m pregnant. I remember telling the Drs & radiographers to check if I’m not pregnant and they all dismissed that as drugged up patient talk.”

Though she did not take a pregnancy test, she knew deep down in her heart that she was with child or twins in this case. While celebrating their birthday, Makgofe returned on the difficult times she’s faced with her two angels.

“But deep down in my soul, I knew I was. My babies went through that hell with me, my 2 angels by my side, God is truly amazing. I’m humbled, in awe, feeling blessed and loved beyond measure”. The actress added that she might have not achieved all her dreams but she’s right where God wants her to be. “I might not have attained my dreams the way I had planned coz God had a bigger plan for my life.”

She went on to thank her ancestors for being by her side. “The battle I was in He knew He had to halt my plans first, Badimo ba geshu Badimo baka fought for me and Won- bana ba baloi lenyele, le paletšwe dimpsya tse!”

She is now satisfied with where she is and what she has in her life. “I count my blessings, I’m content that my life is flowing in the way that Badimo had intended it to be- I’m not rushing or competing with anyone – my life my race Their pace.”

At the end of the day, it’s God who really has the last say. “My twin angels are #1, Ke re #one!!
