Skeem Saam: Behind The Scene & Shooting For Christmas 2020

Skeem Saam has always been one of those shows that are way ahead in terms of shooting scenes. We know this because when Charles Maja who played Big Boy passed away in real life, we still saw him for months on our screens. He passed away in April and only left our screens in August.

In these Skeem Saam behind the scene pictures, Skhumbuzo Mbatha who plays Meneer Mpho Manaka, Makgofe Moagi who plays Charity Ramabu, her mother(Koko Mantsha played by Lydia Mokgokoloshi), her two sons; Naol Yimam who plays Jojo, and Patrick Seleka who plays Katlego Peterson are having a Christmas dinner/lunch (look at Katlego’s and the waiters Christmas hats) at Capsy’s (a restaurant owned by Katlego). Which means the soapie is indeed four months ahead in the shooting.

The good news about this picture is that Charity Ramabu would have won full custody of her youngest son; Jojo from her ex-husband; Karin. This means we’ll see more of Jojo in 2021 attending high school at Turfloop high. Jojo does look more grown-up than the last time we saw him. These pictures also mean that our favorite granny; Koko Mantsha is probably coming back to Turfloop, or she could just be visiting her grandchildren and daughter for Christmas.

The really great news is that Meneer Mpho Manaka and Charity Ramabu’s relationship are still together and stronger than ever and Charity has introduced Mpho to her family, which is a big deal. It looks like these two will even get married in 2021 because they’re dead serious about each other.

Fans have been hoping that they’ll become official for a while because they’re sick of Charity’s terrible dating history; from dating desperados to married men and divorced twice. Mpho Manaka is good for her because he’s a gentle soul, good-hearted, and a kind man.
