Skeem Saam: Black Taxed Kwaito Must Move Out
A lot of Skeem Saam viewers have been complaining about the way Mantuli financially abuses her son; Kwaito Seakamela played by Clement Maosa. They can relate to the storyline as they see a lot of black families abusing the breadwinners in their household.
What frustrates viewers the most is that even though Kwaito’s sister; Sthoko is now working, Mantuli still expects her son to top the bill for everything. Sthoko’s son isn’t even looked after by his mother or father. Mantuli herself intentionally missed an interview because she knows that her son will take care of everything.
Kwaito’s friends; Kat and Tbose have achieved so much in their lives because their families don’t abuse them as much as Kwaito’s. Kat has a car and runs his own business; Tbose is getting married and has a car too.
Kwaito’s mother and other sister Pretty Seakamela have both become lazy and so dependent on him as if Kwaito is the father and husband in the Seakamela house. Mantuli is still expecting Kwaito to build her a double story house on top of the debit order he’s paying for and the groceries he buys every month.
This month; Kwaito is expected to pay for Pretty’s 21st birthday party even though Mantuli is the one that promised her daughter she’d pay for it. Pretty has more than 10 thousand rands from the modeling gig she just got but isn’t planning to spend any of her money because she’s saving it.
Skeem Saam fans have become so frustrated with the black taxed Kwaito on social media and have suggested he move out of his home like his older sister; Sthoko so that he can show and enjoy his money like other kids. They are shocked at the way Mantuli has become so comfortable with asking him for money and they’ve had enough of the storyline.
